Hospital transport staff and surgery staff are faced with many equipment issues and options but none is more important than having the life supporting IV Pole attached to your equipment when needed. From an injury prevention perspective when hospital staff are forced to push patients around the facility and then somehow use one arm to bring along a separate IV Pole on wheels it creates an enormous risk of injury to the nurse, transporter, or other healthcare worker.
