Description

C-800 Bariatric Ceiling Lift

The smallest bariatric patient lift in its class, the C-800 overhead lift motor by SPH Medical provides safe patient handling for lifting, transferring and positioning patients up to 800 pounds. Designed to be safely operated by a single caregiver, this cleverly designed ceiling lift is suitable for use in private homes and institutional settings like nursing homes. Its quick lifting speed makes it a breeze to move and secure residents, making things easier and safer for caregivers and patients alike. With multiple charging options, an informative digital display and multiple charging options, the C-800 lift is in a league of its own.

Like all C-series lift models by SPH Medical, the C-800 can be used to quickly and affordably upgrade aging systems. The overhead lift motor is compatible with track systems from all major manufacturers, making retrofitting a snap. The lift is also compatible with all major manufacturers’ accessories, turntables and weight scales, providing superior flexibility for institutions of all sizes and scopes.

Located beneath the lift, the digital display shows an array of useful information, including the total number of lifts, lift status and battery status. For the latter, an audible alert warns when the battery is running low. The display also provides maintenance reminders, making it easier to keep this critical equipment in tip-top shape.

The C-800 patient lift is designed with safe patient handling in mind. RTC models include a weight sensor cutout at 5.5 amps. All models include emergency stop, emergency manual lowering and an emergency lowering device. When not in use for an extended period, the lift automatically shuts off, saving battery life and enhancing safety. The soft start/stop 7.5-foot strap provides vertical movement for easy lifting from the floor.

This system includes a pneumatic hand control that allows a single caregiver to safely position, transfer and move bariatric patients safely, accurately and efficiently. Bright, colorful buttons with directional indicators eliminate guesswork and make it easy to learn how to use the system.

Unlike many overhead lift motors, the C-800 by SPH Medical can often be maintained while right on the track. The bottom cover can be removed and the battery swapped out quickly, reducing downtime and ensuring that the system is available when needed. Two charging options are available as well. With constant charge, the system charges wherever it is on the track. With return to charge, it only charges when it’s on a certain section of the track.

The C-800 ceiling lift comes with an array of carry bars spanning many widths, allowing caregivers to customize the lift based on patient size and pain tolerance. Bar configurations with two-point and four-point sling bars are available, and you can choose from bull horn connectors and spring latch connectors for even greater flexibility. The thoughtfully designed quick-release system allows caregivers to attach and remove carry bars fast – just hold the latch open, rotate the hook and remove or attach the bar.
