Caregivers will appreciate the ease with which they can control the lift using the control, which lacks electrical components and therefore is safer and much quieter. A digital display is located beneath the lift. It displays an array of useful information, including diagnostic data, battery life and total number of lifts performed. These metrics allow facilities to stay on top of lift maintenance easily while alerting caregivers when the battery needs charging.

Many maintenance tasks for this lift can be handled while it remains on the track, reducing downtime and allowing facilities to keep everything up and running with minimal effort. The bottom cover can quickly be removed for many tasks, including swapping out the battery. This saves vast amounts of time versus removing the entire unit from the track, which is tedious and often quite involved.

Another exceptional feature of the C-450 fixed ceiling lift is its lineup of carry bars. Several carry bar widths are available so that the lift can accommodate everyone from small kids to larger adults. Bull horn and spring latch connectors are available, making it easy to achieve the right configuration. Bar configurations with two- and four-point sling bars are also available, providing even more versatility. The quick-release system simplifies the process of swapping out carry bars. Simply hold the latch open, rotate the lock and remove or attach the carry bar of your choice.

This patient lift system is also available in two charging configurations. The constant-charge option keeps the device charging wherever it is along the track. The return-to-charge option only charges the device when it’s at a certain point of the track. Facilities can choose whichever charging option is right for them, giving them even more control and flexibility. It also boasts several safety features, including emergency manual lowering, emergency stop and an emergency lowering device.
